Welcome college counselors! It is with great pleasure that Colgate University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Union College, Skidmore College, Syracuse University, and Hamilton College invite you to visit our respective campuses and experience first-hand the beauty of central New York.

The CRUSSH counselor tour is a five-day program available for high school counselors interested in learning more about colleges and universities in the Central New York region. Over the course of five days, counselors will have the opportunity to meet with admission representatives, current students, and faculty at Colgate, R.P.I., Union, Skidmore, Syracuse, and Hamilton so that they may better inform and advise their students with regard to these six institutions.

The program begins on a Sunday evening with a welcome reception and dinner. The tour then departs from the hotel on Monday morning and visits the six colleges, making two stops per day. The program ends Thursday morning.  Participants are responsible for making and paying for all travel arrangements to and from the tour. Transportation from college to college, overnight accommodations, and meals throughout the tour are provided.

Due to the popularity of the CRUSSH tour, those registering now will be reviewed for participation in CRUSSH tours in 2011. To be entered into our database for a future tour or for more information regarding the program, please continue to the pre-registration portion of our website.

The CRUSSH tour is a selective tour designed primarily for secondary school counselors. Priority will be given to secondary school counselors from distance regions or schools that have not been represented on a recent tour. If you are a member of a community-based organization or are an independent counselor, please visit the pre-registration page for more information about the selection process.

We look forward to seeing you on campus!
